The results of the fuel and energy sector for eleven months of 2024 were discussed at the government meeting

On December 6, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, where the results of the work done for eleven months of the current year were summed up, and the priority tasks of the country's socio-economic development were discussed.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the work carried out in the supervised industries for January-November of the current year, as well as on the practical steps taken to increase production volumes and expand energy supply routes to the world market.

Information was provided on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, in particular, the State Concern "Turkmennebit" fulfilled the plan at 102.3 percent.

 It was also reported that during the period under review, the plan for oil refining at the State Concern's refineries was fulfilled at 102.9 percent, for gasoline production - 106.4 percent, and for the export of "blue fuel" - 100.2 percent.

Along with this, the results of activities in the field of production of diesel fuel, polypropylene, lubricating oils and liquefied gas, as well as the production of natural and associated gas were reported.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of taking the necessary measures to carry out the work envisaged by the Program for the Development of the Domestic Fuel and Energy Complex. Particular attention should be paid to the issues of deep development of oil and gas fields, the head of state said. In this context, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to continue work to increase the volume of oil and gas production.
