The Turkish Export Goods Exhibition is being held in Ashgabat from December 4 to 6, and the regular meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council was also held within its framework.

The exhibition, held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, brought together more than 70 companies and associations from Turkey, which presented a wide range of products, including consumer goods, construction materials, textiles, electronics, engineering products and much more.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a greeting to the participants of the exhibition, in which he expressed confidence that it “will be of great importance for strengthening reliable interstate relations based on friendship, developing trade and economic ties, and increasing trade turnover between the two countries”.

“Mutually beneficial relations between the two fraternal countries are developing rapidly and are reaching a qualitatively new level. "By actively participating in the implementation of important projects in various sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan, Turkish companies are successfully doing business", the President noted.

The head of state also emphasized that "the next meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council, which will be held as part of the exhibition, will create favorable conditions for the business circles of both countries to exchange valuable experience, high technologies, identify promising areas of cooperation, strengthen mutually beneficial ties, and conclude new agreements".

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also noted "that there are ample opportunities for further development and deepening of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey".

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Turkish Minister of Trade Omer Bolat. He noted the importance of holding such events for the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey.

The exhibition presents the latest developments in the field of construction technologies, renewable energy sources, medicine and transport. An important aspect of the event is not only the expansion of trade, but also the development of joint projects that can be implemented within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries. On Wednesday, December 4, the regular meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council was held, focusing on the issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation.

As noted, Turkmenistan and Turkey are actively developing the potential for partnership. In recent years, large joint projects have been successfully implemented in various sectors of the national economy with the participation of Turkish companies, and new ones are currently being implemented. Expressing great interest in developing large-scale cooperation with Turkmenistan, which has a reputation as a reliable partner in the international arena, the heads of Turkish companies confirmed their readiness for more active participation in investment projects aimed at further socio-economic development of our country.

It was also noted that the enormous potential creates conditions for the continuous and targeted implementation of large-scale reforms in the oil and gas, transport, construction, chemical, energy and other sectors of the economy.

On Thursday, new products and modern technologies of Turkish companies are presented at the exhibition. On the final day of the forum, its participants will be awarded special diplomas.
