The President of Turkmenistan discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation with the Minister of Trade of Turkey

On December 4, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat, who arrived in our country to participate in the Exhibition of Export Goods of the Republic of Turkey, TDH reports.
Having conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the guest emphasized that Turkey attaches great importance to multilateral cooperation with our country.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is ready to develop bilateral cooperation with Turkey, increase trade turnover, and consider specific proposals in various areas of mutual interest.
The head of state also said that the exhibition of export goods of the Republic of Turkey, regularly held in Turkmenistan, is one of the important events that contribute to the intensification of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two states.
Noting the importance of bilateral trade and economic partnership, the President of Turkmenistan paid special attention to the introduction of new technologies and advanced scientific achievements in various areas, international cooperation for the purpose of consistent modernization of the economy.
In this regard, confidence was expressed that the Exhibition of Turkish Export Goods will contribute to bringing trade and economic relations between the two countries to a higher level and further development of business ties.
For Turkmenistan, the Republic of Turkey is one of the fraternal states. The relations between the countries are long-term, strategic in nature and are based on mutual respect and support, it was stated during the meeting.
Currently, Turkmen-Turkish relations are successfully and consistently expanding in a number of areas, including trade, energy, textile industry, construction and other industries.
