Turkmenistan to Participate in Istanbul Energy Forum

The Istanbul Energy Forum, organized by Anadolu Agency under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Energy, will be held at the Istanbul Congress Center on November 22. The forum will bring together energy ministers, representatives of international organizations, scientists and industry leaders to discuss key issues in the global energy sector.
The theme of the forum is “Common Future, Common Goals.” Participants will discuss Turkey’s role in ensuring energy security, strategies for financing the energy transition, the development of oil and gas markets, as well as new technologies in the energy sector.
The special session will feature Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar and other high-level representatives.
The high-level panel discussion, chaired by Bayraktar, will feature heads of industry departments from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Libya, Russia, Serbia and Turkmenistan.
The forum will continue with sessions organized by the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (BOTAS), as well as discussions on new technologies and financing for the energy transition, Anadolu Agency reported.
