The results of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan for ten months of 2024 summed up

At the reporting meeting held on November 9 in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, the results of the work of the industry’s enterprises for ten months of 2024 were summed up. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks, set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov before the country’s oil and gas complex at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on November 8, and also considered specific ways to further advance work in this direction. 

Opening the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov emphasized that thanks to the attention and support of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the oil and gas industry was being systematically and consistently improved, and its material and technical base was being modernized. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the importance of effectively solving the tasks set before the domestic fuel and energy complex.

During the meeting, the State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the Türkmengaz State Concern Maksat Babayev, the Chairman of the Türkmennebit State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, the Chairman of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation Gurbangeldy Garliyev and the heads of associations, departments, organizations and enterprises of the complex presented reports on the work done over the past ten months of the current year.

The speeches included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country and the progress of the construction of the main section of the TAPI gas pipeline along the Serhetabat–Herat route, called “Arkadagyň ak ýoly”, and the need for timely preparation for the upcoming winter season and increase in the pace of construction work was noted.

Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov noted the importance of the constant monitoring of major projects being implemented in the country’s oil and gas sector, the expansion of the range of innovative technologies in the industry, the timely implementation of production plans and the familiarization of specialists with the progress of the work on the ground. In this regard, specific tasks, facing the Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit State Concerns and the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation, were identified.

Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov wished the employees of the complex every success in effectively solving the tasks set by the head of state for the development of the oil and gas industry.

In the reporting meeting, the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues Ashyrguly Begliyev took part.
