As the head of state noted, Turkmenistan, implementing a foreign policy course based on the principles of positive neutrality, constructively interacts with Russia in a multilateral format, at authoritative international venues.
In this regard, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the high level and importance of the XVI BRICS Summit held in Tatarstan, which became an open platform for exchanging views and discussing topical issues of interstate cooperation.
Noting the importance of Alexey Overchuk's current visit to Ashgabat in maintaining regular intergovernmental dialogue between the two countries, the President wished fruitful negotiations with his Turkmen colleagues aimed at promoting mutually beneficial partnership.
