The Cabinet of Ministers meeting summed up the results of the fuel and energy sector for January-September 2024

On October 4, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital system, where the results of the work of economic sectors for the first nine months of the year were summed up and upcoming tasks were defined.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the work carried out by the oil and gas complex in January-September 2024, on the practical steps taken to increase production volumes and expand energy supply routes to the world market.

It was also reported on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, in particular, the State Concern "Turkmennebit" fulfilled the plan at the level of 102.6 %.

the State Concern's oil refineries amounted to 104.1 %, for gasoline production - 106.9 %, lubricating oils - 105.9 %, for natural and associated gas production - 100.3 %, and for deliveries of "blue fuel" abroad - 101.7 %.

In addition, the results of activities in the field of production of diesel fuel, polypropylene and liquefied gas were reported.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of further improving the work of the oil and gas complex. Noting the need for stable operation and expansion of production capacity of fuel and energy complex enterprises, the head of state gave specific instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
