Turkmenistan and ADNOC discussed issues of joint implementation of projects in the gas sector

A meeting via video conference took place on July 20 between the management of the State Concern "Turkmengas" and the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the United Arab Emirates, General Director of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting a wide range of issues related to the implementation of cooperation projects in the gas sector were discussed. The main topic was the development of the Galkynysh gas field in Turkmenistan, as well as ADNOC’s participation in international energy projects implemented by Turkmenistan. The parties considered a wide range of issues related to current and future projects.
As is known, starting from 2023, ADNOC, in accordance with international standards and practices in conducting work in the gas sector, has been closely interacting with the State Concern "Turkmengas".
Following the video conference, the Turkmen and Emirati sides confirmed their intention to continue the partnership to strengthen the legal framework for interaction and consider certain economic and technological aspects related to the projects being implemented.
