The Forum “Trade, Investments and Business Opportunities in Turkmenistan” is planned to be organized on November 7–8 of this year in the city of Abu Dhabi (UAE) as part of the World Exhibition (ADIPEC), which will be held on November 4–7 in the capital United Arab Emirates. This was reported by Vice-Chairman Batyr Atdaev, reporting at a government meeting last Friday on the ongoing work to strengthen trade and economic ties and expand mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign countries.

It was noted that taking into account the interest of large world companies to cooperate with Turkmenistan, it is proposed to organize presentations at the site of a large-scale international review that reveal the potential of the country with the participation of representatives of the financial and economic, oil and gas, energy complexes, spheres industry, trade, agriculture, water, environment, transport and communications.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted for consideration by the Head of State.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that international events held in the country and abroad contribute to the development of trade and economic relations. As noted, the upcoming review in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) is of great importance in terms of illuminating the growing economic potential and the high borders achieved by Turkmenistan. A high level of organization of the Forum “Trading, Investments and Business Opportunities in Turkmenistan” planned for holding at the site of the World Exhibition should be ensured, the head of state said, instructing the Vice-Chairman to take appropriate measures for this, TDH reports.
