On June 8, a reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of industry enterprises for five months of the current year, held under the motto “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi”, were discussed. During the meeting, the tasks set for the country’s oil and gas complex by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which took place on June 7, summed up the results of the work of all sectors of the economy, and also discussed specific ways to further advance work in this direction.
Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov especially emphasized that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in order to improve the activities of the industry and its consistent development based on modern achievements, the state is creating all conditions, modernizing the material and technical base, introducing innovative technologies, which , in turn, determines specific tasks facing the domestic fuel and energy complex.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babayev, the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agadzhanov, the Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as the heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex, who reported on the work done for the reporting period and announced tasks for the near future.
The speeches included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the development of cooperation with large investors and oil and gas companies of foreign countries, the widespread use of a digital system in the complex’s activities, the intensification of work on the development of the Galkynysh gas field, and ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of production facilities. capacities regardless of weather conditions, accelerating the pace of construction work, as well as in other equally relevant areas.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized the importance of constant monitoring of major projects being implemented in the country’s oil and gas complex, the widespread introduction of modern technologies into the industry, timely and high-quality implementation of production plans, strict adherence to safety regulations, noting the need to improve the skills of specialists in this area . Also, the Vice-Chairman, outlining the specific tasks facing the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”, and the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company, wished the industry workers success in their future activities.
At the reporting meeting, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues Ashyrguly Begliev noted that dynamic development in the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan continues, and voiced his proposals for further increasing the pace of development of the activities of the state concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit", the state corporation "Turkmengeology", as well as JSC "Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company".
