Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will visit Turkmenistan on January 19-20, referring to Russian media. In Ashgabat, the delegation headed by him will take part in the Turkmen-Russian business forum.
The event will consider a wide range of issues designed to meaningfully index the range of partnerships between business platforms and key departments of the two friendly countries.
Panel sessions will be devoted to the topics of Russian-Turkmen cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, education, industry, the digital agenda and other areas of dialogue between companies of the two countries.
Industry meetings are planned on the first day of the business forum. Also, during the days of the forum in Ashgabat, a grand opening of a trade and exhibition site from Russian manufacturers – «Trading House of Russia» is planned.
The forum is aimed at deepening trade, economic and industrial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia. Based on the results of business negotiations, a package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed.
Mikhail Mishustin, who has been Prime Minister of the Russian Federation since January 2020, will visit Turkmenistan for the first time as Prime Minister of Russia.
