The grand opening of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) office took place in Ashgabat on November 24, according to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
ADNOC is the largest international oil company in the United Arab Emirates. Turkmenistan consistently strengthens its energy partnership with ADNOC, as a responsible global leader committed to ensuring universal access to energy and promoting sustainable development.
The company's office is located in the capital's new, luxurious Arkach Business Center. The ceremony was attended by Guanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit," Ahmed Alhameli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan, heads of several diplomatic missions, business representatives, and media representatives.
In the context of international cooperation in the oil and gas sector, our country places particular importance on establishing close business relationships based on trust and mutual benefit. In this regard, Turkmenistan sees the importance of introducing advanced technologies, innovative approaches, and best international practices to develop the energy sector and diversify export routes.
In 2025, ADNOC strengthened its presence in Turkmenistan. The company signed a strategic agreement to develop Block 1 in the Caspian Sea jointly with Petronas and the State Concerns Turkmengas and Turkmennebit.
As Ahmed Alhameli, UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, emphasized at the opening ceremony, the Ashgabat office is not only a symbol of expanding cooperation but also of a shared vision for a sustainable future and partnership.
In this regard, the diplomat expressed deep gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the Government of Turkmenistan for their continued support of multilateral cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, wishing them peace, progress, and further development.
