In the Lebap velayat, large-scale plans for the construction of new gas pipelines are being implemented this year. The construction of networks is envisaged in the town of Magdanly and the Ters gengeshlik of the Koytendag etrap, in the village of Amudarya in the Dovletli etrap, in the Gyzylgum and Burdalyk gengeshliks of the Hodjambaz etrap and in the Gyzylayak gengeshlik of the Kerki etrap. The work will also be performed in the village of Chohpetde in the Halach etrap, the town of Garabekevul and the Lamma and Akgala gengeshliks of the Garabekevul etrap. In addition, gasification is planned in the Myulk, Esgi, Garamahmyt and Siyadagsakar gengeshliks of the Sayat etrap; in the town of Farap and the Hanoba, Krach, Garamysh and Osty gengeshliks of the Farap etrap; in the Amudarya, Bereket and N. Gutliyev gengeshliks of the Charjev etrap; in the towns of Dyanev and Seydi, the Yildyz gengeshlik of the Dyanev Etrap; in the town of Darganata, and in the Charvadar and Sedver gengeshliks of the Darganata etrap. These large-scale plans are aimed at providing new residential areas and rural residents with natural gas, further improving their social and living conditions.
The dynamic work, carried out by the Lebapgazüpjünçilik Directorate since the beginning of the year, has enabled it to demonstrate rapid progress: a quarter of the annual plan was already fulfilled in the first two months. During this period, approximately 10.5 kilometers of new gas pipelines were installed, bringing natural gas to residents of the town of Dyanev, the settlements of Sakar and Beshir and the gengeshliks of Goynuk, Hojaili, Hojakenepsi, Bitik, Jendi, Pelvert, Esenmengli, Altyn Asyr and Akgumolam.
