Last week, 17 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates purchased aviation kerosene produced at the SC Turkmennebit processing units for foreign currency.

Bedding sets, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, licorice roots and rhizomes, cotton yarn, and raw silk were also sold for foreign currency. The buyers included the UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine.

The total value of the transactions exceeded USD 7,811,000.

Local businessmen purchased polypropylene, base oil and Turkmenaglomerate (Turkmennebit), as well as cotton yarn and fabric, and cotton fiber for the domestic market for a total of over 67 million 237 thousand manats.
