Oil and gas occupy a special place among Turkmenistan’s natural resources, rightfully considered a true treasure trove of resources. The development of the oil and gas industry is the foundation of our national economy, and the country is consistently implementing large-scale industry programs. As in other sectors of the national economy, specialists in this field work hard, successfully fulfilling all state-mandated objectives.
The Nebitdag Drilling Directorate of the Nebitgazburawlaýyş Trust is a key unit within the Türkmennebit State Concern. The enterprise was founded in 1971, and on June 1 of the current year, the team celebrated a significant anniversary – 55 years since its founding. Today, specialists from the Directorate are actively drilling production wells at major oil and gas fields such as Nebitdag, Goturdepe, Barsagelmez, Northern Goturdepe, Western Goturdepe, Eastern Çeleken and Mydar. Production tasks are being successfully implemented thanks to the use of 12 powerful drilling rigs ZJ-70 DS, ZJ-30T, HJ-750, and HJ-450 manufactured in the People’s Republic of China.
