Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the opening ceremony of the modern village of Bagtly Zamana in the Govshut gengeshlik of the Kahka etrap of the Ahal region, TDH reports.

"Today, on the eve of the glorious 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and Independence Day, we are witnessing a series of ceremonial openings of new buildings and facilities in various corners of our beautiful homeland. In a short period of time, enormous work has been accomplished towards the socioeconomic development of the Ahal region," the head of state noted in his address.

The President emphasized that the 400 residential buildings, a 640-seat secondary school, a 320-seat kindergarten, a shopping center, and the gengeshlik administration building erected in the village of Bagtly Zamana are exemplary examples of hundreds of villages and towns in the present and near future of the prosperous Turkmen state.

"The village of Bagtly Zamana will be inscribed in golden letters in the new history of the gengeshlik and will contribute to improving the socio-cultural level and well-being of rural residents. It is especially noteworthy that the village was built by Turkmen builders, who are making a significant contribution to the successful implementation of large-scale transformation programs," Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted.

"In the future, implementing the national strategy to improve the quality of life, we will continue to rapidly build luxury residential buildings and socio-cultural facilities." "Concern for the interests of our people and their well-being are among the main vectors of Turkmenistan's state policy," the head of state concluded, wishing the participants good health, a prosperous and happy life, and success in their work, TDH reports.
