Emir of Qatar discussed prospects for interstate partnership with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On September 15, in the city of Doha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov was received by the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.

During the meeting, the head of Qatar conveyed words of greetings and deep respect to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the support provided by the leadership of Turkmenistan to his country and people during this difficult period.

The Emir also emphasized the high level of fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, and noted good prospects for the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Qatar in a wide range of areas.

The importance of interaction between the two states in the international political arena within the framework of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other authoritative international organizations was particularly emphasized.
