Turkmenistan and China signed an intergovernmental Agreement on technical and economic cooperation

On August 25, 2025, the signing ceremony of the Agreement on technical and economic cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Agreement is designed to promote the expansion of cooperation in the field of economic, scientific, technical and infrastructure cooperation between the countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

The document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan Ji Shumin.

The signed document is aimed at exchanging accumulated positive experience, discussing issues of practical implementation of advanced innovative solutions in leading sectors of the economy, as well as enhancing partnership in this area between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China.
