On August 22, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived on a working visit to participate in the trilateral summit "Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan".

During the talks held in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" in a one-on-one format and in an expanded format with the participation of delegations of both countries, the parties confirmed their mutual desire to deepen strategic partnership, the News Portal of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Turkmenistan reports.

The interlocutors noted that effective cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is based on a solid foundation of friendship and political will.

It was also emphasized that in recent years, bilateral relations have reached a qualitatively new level, which opens up broad prospects for further expansion of cooperation in all areas.
