In order to improve the quality of the current activities of the HR departments of organizations and enterprises subordinate to the State Concern "Turkmengas", to improve the professional skills of HR department employees and to ensure the proper performance of their job responsibilities, a working meeting on the topic "Methods of stimulating the development of mentoring" was held in the building of the Research Institute of Natural Gas. The meeting, organized by the HR department of the State Concern "Turkmengas", was attended by the heads and responsible employees of the HR departments of organizations and enterprises subordinate to the concern.
At the working meeting, the Head of the HR Department of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Ayna Hekimova spoke in detail about the work being done to develop the oil and gas industry based on multifaceted reforms implemented in the country thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, about the latest achievements of science and world experience in the oil and gas sector, about the work being done to increase the volume of oil and gas production and processing. During the working meeting, issues of proper document management in the HR department in accordance with the legislation in force in Turkmenistan, in particular, the Labor Code of Turkmenistan, regulatory legal acts, as well as methods of cooperation with young specialists (employees) entering the workforce, in accordance with the knowledge they have acquired, were widely discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on mentoring, which plays an important role in improving the professional skills of novice specialists. HR departments play an important role in the proper management of the activities of the State Concern "Turkmengas" and its divisions and enterprises, in improving the qualifications of young specialists, training personnel and their adaptation in the labor market.
During the meeting, the participants were familiarized with the methodological manual "Methods of stimulating the development of mentoring", prepared to improve the work of the HR department. It covered such topics as "Stages of implementing mentoring", "The concept of a young employee and a young specialist", "Cooperation with young specialists", "Types and goals of mentoring", "Tasks of mentors", "Planning", "Necessary measures", "Positive impact of mentoring on a young employee, young specialist", "Motivation of mentors".
Preparing young qualified, comprehensively developed specialists with a broad outlook is a requirement of the time. HR departments should pay special attention to improving young specialists. In accordance with the requirements imposed on the heads of organizations and enterprises in our independent homeland in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, the tasks set for identifying talented, comprehensively developed young specialists (employees), compiling a list of personnel reserves included in the management team, and the correct organization of the reserve fund must be completed.
It is worth noting that the working meeting, which was of an introductory and educational nature, was organized and as effective as possible.
