President of Turkmenistan: among the priorities of the fuel and energy complex are the development of gas chemistry and gas processing

 Among the priority tasks for the development of the fuel and energy complex of our country at present should be an increase in the capacity of the gas chemical industry, an increase in the volume of gas processing and output.  This was stated by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting last Friday.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported on the state of affairs in the structural divisions of the fuel and energy complex, in particular, in the State Concern «Turkmengas».

 It was reported about the steps taken to systematically strengthen the material and technical base of the industry, intensive development of the domestic fuel and energy complex based on the introduction of innovative technologies, to increase the output of high-quality petrochemical products that are in demand in the country and abroad.

 After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that currently the priority areas for the development of the domestic fuel and energy complex are increasing the capacity of the gas chemical industry, increasing the volume of natural gas processing and output.

 As the head of state emphasized, the stable and effective development of the oil and gas industry is directly related to the modernization of infrastructure, the need for constant updating of technical means.  In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Vice-Chairman to continue work in this direction.

Since the opening of the transnational Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline in 2009, over 320 billion cubic meters of Turkmen gas have been exported to the Celestial Empire. General director of the branch of the National Petroleum Corporation of China (CNPC) Chen Huailong stated this, the Watan news program of the Turkmen television reported.

Modern Information and Analytical Center for sustainable energy development has been opened in Turkmenistan

Today, March 26, the grand opening of the Information and Analytical Center was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern "Turkmengas".
