Today, negotiations were held in Ashgabat between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, TDH reports.
During the negotiations, which were held in a confidential atmosphere and in a businesslike manner, the heads of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, specified its priority areas, taking into account modern realities, existing potential and long-term prospects.
The parties also discussed topical issues of the regional and global agenda of mutual interest. Particular attention was paid to the topic of deepening cooperation in Central Asia.
At the end of the talks, the ceremony of signing bilateral documents took place.
