Preparations for the 15th Central Asia-Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum at the level of foreign ministers were discussed on Wednesday at an online meeting of deputy foreign ministers of the participating countries. This is reported by the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Khadzhiev.
During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation were discussed, based on the agenda of the upcoming forum. In particular, attention was paid to the interaction of countries in the fields of energy, economic security, digital cooperation, healthcare, tourism and ecology.
The issues of the draft joint statement and the work plan of the Forum Secretariat for 2023 were also considered.
V. Khadzhiev expressed the interest of the Turkmen side in promoting a constructive dialogue and practical interaction within the framework of the upcoming forum scheduled for the near future in the city of Busan (Republic of Korea)
The parties also discussed the organizational and protocol issues of the upcoming forum.
