Turkmenistan ranks 7th in the world ranking of countries with the cheapest automotive fuel. This is evidenced by the data of the report on motor fuel prices in the world, published on August 29 by the online edition GlobalPetrolPrices.
According to the report, the price of A-95 gasoline in Turkmenistan is $0.428 per liter. Venezuela, Libya, Iran, Algeria, Kuwait and Angola are ahead of Turkmenistan in the list of countries with the cheapest prices for gasoline. In Venezuela, gasoline costs $0.022 per litre.
The average world price of 1 liter of gasoline is $1.36. And the most expensive 1 liter of gasoline was in Hong Kong - $2.98.
It is noteworthy that in March of this year, according to the same publication, Turkmenistan ranked 10th in this indicator. Since then, our country has risen by 3 points, ahead of Syria, Kazakhstan and Nigeria. In these countries, gasoline prices have risen during the current year, while the cost of motor fuel in Turkmenistan has not changed.
In terms of diesel fuel, Turkmenistan ranks 9th in the world ranking of countries with the cheapest fuel. According to the newspaper, 1 liter of diesel fuel costs $0.385 in Turkmenistan. The lowest cost of this type of fuel in Iran is $0.011 per 1 liter.
The average world price of 1 liter of diesel fuel is $1.37.
