SC «Turkmengeology» intends to purchase equipment for 3D modeling

 The state corporation «Türkmengeologiýa» plans to purchase geophysical equipment for the implementation of a modern method of seismic exploration – 3D modeling.

 Vice-Chairman Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported at a government meeting last Friday on the practical steps taken to purchase modern geophysical equipment intended for a new seismic survey method – 3D modeling by the SC «Turkmengeology».

 As noted, in order to increase the efficiency of seismic surveys to identify productive horizons of hydrocarbon resources, it is planned to purchase a new three-dimensional (3D) field seismic complex and software for processing and integrating information obtained from the results of geophysical work.  In this regard, it is envisaged to conclude an appropriate agreement.

 Noting that the efficiency of the fuel and energy complex is directly related to the modernization of its infrastructure and the increase in production capacities, the introduction of scientific achievements and innovative technologies that help increase the productivity of production wells in oil and gas fields, the head of state addressed the Vice-Chairman with specific instructions on the systematic diversification of this most important industry.
