The President of Turkmenistan and the Foreign Minister of Austria noted the great potential for building up trade and economic ties

 The main aspects of the interstate dialogue were discussed on Tuesday by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Austrian Republic Michael Linhart, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

 The Turkmen leader and the Austrian diplomat noted the great potential for building up trade and economic ties, including at the level of the business communities of the two countries.

 Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that cooperation between the two countries is also successfully developing in the format of authoritative international organizations and structures – the UN, OSCE and others, including within the framework of the dialogue with the European Union that has intensified in recent years.

 Linhart expressed the desire of Austrian companies to promote on the market of Turkmenistan, as evidenced by the Austrian business delegation that arrived in Ashgabat.

 Industry, energy, and the transport complex were named among the priority areas of interaction during the meeting.
