Organizational issues related to the participation of the delegation of Turkmenistan in «EXPO -2020 Dubai» were discussed on Wednesday at an online meeting with the coordinator of this forum on work with foreign participants Omar Shehade, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The Turkmen side was represented at the meeting by Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov and Deputy Foreign Minister Berdyniyaz Myatiev.
During the talks, the parties noted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates in a wide range and discussed the importance of the international exhibition «EXPO -2020» in Dubai in terms of the development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the countries.
The parties noted that the participation of Turkmenistan in «EXPO -2020» will not only contribute to the further strengthening of the Turkmen-Emirati relations, but will also provide an opportunity to better acquaint the world community with the economic achievements of Turkmenistan and tell about the rich culture of the Turkmen people.
Recall that the largest international exhibition EXPO 2020 Dubai will open on October 1 and will continue to work until March 31, 2022. It will be attended by representatives of more than 190 states.
The pavilion of Turkmenistan at the forum will be located in the thematic area «Mobility». Day 9 October will be fully dedicated to the demonstration of the achievements of our country, including the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan.
