The TCOR began production of Jet A-1 aviation kerosene in July 2021. This type of fuel is widely used in gas turbine engines of civil aviation aircraft in Europe, the USA and Canada, including Airbus and Boeing airliners.
The new fuel obtained as a result of deep purification of raw materials meets international aviation standards and is certified by the Main State Service «Turkmenstandartlary».
Turkmen petrochemists, on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, are actively working to expand the range of oil products produced in the country. Recently, the TCOR began production of aviation gasoline for light single-engine AN-2 aircraft. Previously, this fuel used in small aircraft for agricultural work was imported from abroad.
