 Today, September 13, in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, a reporting meeting was held on the video communication system. There the results of the work of the industry enterprises over the past eight months of this year were discussed.

 At the reporting meeting, important aspects of the implementation of the priority tasks set by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in the format of digital video communication on September 10 were considered, at which the results of eight months were summed up and the urgent tasks of the country's socio-economic development were identified.

 Reporting meeting, chaired by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov, was attended by Deputy Minister of the State Concern «Turkmengas» G. Aghajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmennebit» G. Baigeldyev, Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» M. Rozyev, General Director of TCOR D. Chishiev, General Director of CJSC «Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company» M. Pirliev, as well as heads of departments and enterprises of the oil and gas complex.

 During the reporting meeting, specific instructions from the President were noted on further streamlining the activities of the sectoral departments of the country's oil and gas complex, increasing oil production, fully utilizing the capacities of oil refineries, and increasing the production of liquefied gas and other products.

 It was also indicated the need to hold meetings with the participation of representatives of industry science and, together with scientists, discuss these issues, analyze the presence of promising fields with large oil reserves, as well as the activities of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» and the State Concern «Turkmennebit» to fulfill the established tasks.

  During the meeting, it was emphasized about the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) transnational pipeline, as well as the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan power transmission line.

   At the end of the meeting, Vice-Chairman Sh.Abdyrakhmanov wished the participants success in achieving high indicators in the implementation of the tasks set by the President for the oil and gas industry of our country and wished the workers of the oil and gas industry and geology new labor lines in the year of celebrating the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.
