Last week, 20 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Businessmen from Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Malta, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan purchased for foreign currency motor gasoline and aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.
Also, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products and cotton yarn were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: UAE, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions was approximately $11 million USD.
For manat funds, representatives of business circles from the UAE and Pakistan purchased cotton yarn for a total amount of more than 6 million 853 thousand manats.
For the local market domestic businessmen bought plastic pallets for 4 million 712 thousand manats, as well as Portland cement for about $100 thousand USD.
