 Turkmenistan continues to ensure the uninterrupted operation of checkpoints on the Turkmen-Afghan border, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

 At present, more than 70 railway cars and about 160 freight vehicles are allowed to pass through the Imamnazar-Akina and Serhetabat-Turgundi checkpoints every day, the report says.

 The main part of cargo passed through the state border is made up of oil products, liquefied gas, grain, and everyday goods.

 The report emphasizes that the Afghan side has reduced customs tariffs for exported goods to Afghanistan.
