Ashgabat will host the XXVI International Conference «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan -2021» on October 27-29, 2021, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. This was reported on the website of the organizers of the forum, including the State Concerns «Turkmengas» and «Turkmennebit», as well as the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» in partnership with the enterprise «Turkmen Forum» and the support of the British company GaffneyCline.
This is a prestigious business forum, which is held annually with the aim of developing and strengthening international partnerships between state organizations of Turkmenistan and international oil and gas companies.
The conference will discuss such topics as new global and regional trends in the development of the fuel and energy complex, the implementation of regional projects, including the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, attracting investments in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea and the prospects for new gas chemical projects.
The conference will include presentations and panel sessions with the participation of senior management of national oil companies, as well as heads of leading international oil companies, large international organizations and financial institutions.
Due to restrictions on international travel, the event will be held in both traditional and online formats. This approach will also be used to organize meetings on the sidelines of the conference with the leadership of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan.
