Avaza will host the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia on August 6

A consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia is scheduled for August 6 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The high-level summit will be accompanied by a number of major regional events.
These include the Economic Forum, the first Dialogue of Women Leaders of the Region's Countries, the International Exhibition of Central Asian Products and the Exhibition of Traditional Foods, as well as a festive concert of masters of culture and art from Central Asian countries.
Preparations for the upcoming events were discussed at a government meeting held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on July 17.
Vice-Chairman, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov said that a number of bilateral meetings would be held on the sidelines of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, following which joint documents would be signed.
Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov informed about the program of the Economic Forum, which would highlight the key vectors of integration and interaction of Central Asian countries in the trade and economic sphere and industrial sectors.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh Gulshat Mammadova said that the program of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian States included issues of gender policy, the role of women in the development of socio-economic ties, cultural and scientific contacts, and the health sector.
To prepare for international events, an Organizing Committee was created, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov was appointed the head of it
