23 transactions were registered at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen from Turkey and the Virgin Islands purchased aviation kerosene and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency.
Also, businessmen from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan bought sheet glass and cotton yarn for foreign currency.
The total amount of transactions amounted to approximately 6 million USD.
For manat funds, representatives of business circles from the UAE, Turkey and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn for a total of over 7.663 million manat.
For the local market, domestic businessmen purchased cotton fiber for a total amount of more than 6 million manat.
