Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey discussed the meeting of the presidents of the three countries

 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov discussed by phone on Saturday the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest political level.  The diplomats noted the importance of the upcoming trilateral meeting of the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey this year, the website of the foreign ministry of our country reports.

 The importance of the planned meeting of the leaders of these three countries was also considered during the telephone talks between Rashid Meredov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, held last Friday.  At the same time, the ministers paid attention to the preparation of the visit of the President of Turkey to Turkmenistan.

 A number of agreements are planned to be signed within the framework of the summit of the heads of the three states of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

 The planned visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Turkmenistan this year was mentioned in a congratulatory message addressed to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the Turkmen leader's birthday.

 In his message, Erdogan stressed that the pace of development achieved in relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey was an indicator of the mutual desire to further develop cooperation in each area.  During the visit, it is planned to discuss joint steps in issues of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation.
