The President of Turkmenistan approved the volumes of consumption of petroleum products for 2021

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Bedimuhamedov signed a Resolution approving the volume of petroleum products, including auto gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel for domestic consumers for 2021.
The document was adopted in accordance with the «Program for the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030» and is aimed at the uninterrupted supply of institutions, enterprises, public associations, individual entrepreneurs and the population with oil products, as well as the successful implementation of tasks for their most rational use.
Vice-Chairman M. Meredov submitted a draft of the relevant Resolution for consideration to the head of the state during an extended meeting of the government, which Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held on January 14 in the Ruhyýet Palace of the administrative center of Lebap region.
The President noted the importance of a systematic increase in the production and processing of oil and natural gas, the production of various petrochemical products, as well as expanding its range.
The head ofthe state ordered to intensify work on the introduction of modern resource-saving technologies in the industry, to keep under constant control the progress of the implementation of large infrastructure projects designed to strengthen the export potential of energy enterprises.
By signing this Resolution, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Vice-Chairman to ensure the proper implementation of its provisions.
