State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” sign new cooperation agreements with Malaysian and UAE companies

On May 14, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a number of documents allowing the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” to conclude agreements with Petronas Çarigali Sdn. Bhd. and ADNOC Turkmenistan RSC Limited. They are aimed at successfully fulfilling the tasks set for the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, TDH reports.

On the same day, an international meeting was held in Ashgabat with the participation of leaders and representatives of the domestic fuel and energy complex, oil and gas industry specialists and relevant industry departments of the United Arab Emirates and the Malaysian company Petronas. The meeting was attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which further increased its significance.

As noted during the meeting, Turkmenistan is consistently developing international cooperation in the oil and gas sector. In this regard, great importance is attached to establishing relations with large companies and business structures around the world based on trust, mutual respect and benefit. This is important for the development of industries and the introduction of modern best practices in their production segments.

As noted, in recent years, advanced technologies, innovative methods, and advanced world experience have been actively introduced into the structures of the fuel and energy complex of our country. In this regard, great importance is attached to the development of international relations and the exchange of experience. This creates conditions for the effective work of the relevant structures and the effective development of modern digital technologies.

During the meeting, attention was focused on the great opportunities for further intensification of cooperation.

Following the meeting, agreements were signed between the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, Petronas Çarigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and ADNOC Turkmenistan RSC Limited (UAE), as well as between the State Concern “Turkmengas”, Petronas Çarigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and ADNOC Turkmenistan RSC Limited (UAE).
