The hard work of the members of the «Lebapnebitgazgozleg» expedition of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» does not keep us waiting for its positive results. This is also evidenced by the industrial inflow of valuable raw materials - oil from exploration well No. 1907, drilled by them at the West Goturdepe field.

- We have confidently entered the International Year of Peace and Trust and today we are expanding our geological exploration activities in the regions of the country, including the Balkan region. The efforts of our close-knit team are bearing fruit. As a result, we are making a worthy contribution to strengthening the economic power of our homeland, - the chief geologist of the expedition Sunnet Hatamov says with satisfaction. Lebap miners drilled a depth of almost 4,000 meters in the above-mentioned well. 

This is the deepest well ever drilled in this field. As a result, rich deposits of oil and natural gas were discovered in the 13th of the lower red-colored layers. According to experts, the flow rate of this well is 93.4 tons of crude oil and 4,430 cubic meters of natural gas per day. The successful completion of geological exploration convincingly confirms that this field has great potential for the extraction of valuable raw materials. This achievement was made possible thanks to the united and purposeful work of the head of the drilling rig, Jumageldy Orazov, and the entire drilling team. It is worth noting that all members of this expedition are highly qualified and have extensive experience. Among the first to be named are drilling master Magtym Mahmudov, leading geologist Mamurjan Charyev, driller Tore Bazarov, driller assistants Gahryman Gurtgeldyev, Artyk Ovezguliev and others.
