The government meeting discussed the results of the oil and gas sector for January-April 2025

On May 8, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, where the results of the work carried out in the country over the four months of the current year were summed up, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the oil and gas sector for January-April 2025.
In particular, it was reported that the oil production plan by the State Concern «Turkmennebit» was fulfilled at 107.9 percent. The oil refining plan was fulfilled by 105.9 percent, gasoline production - by 102.3 percent, diesel fuel - by 100.8 percent, lubricating oils - by 110.4 percent, liquefied gas - by 111.7 percent.
During the reporting period, the plan for the production of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 103.5 percent.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of continuing relevant work to increase oil and gas production volumes, as well as to fully utilize production facilities and ensure their uninterrupted operation.
It is also necessary to increase the efficiency of drilling operations, commission wells, and introduce the latest scientific achievements and advanced technologies in this area into production, the head of state emphasized, addressing a number of instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
