23 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Representatives of business circles of the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan purchased petroleum road bitumen, motor gasoline, liquefied gas, aviation kerosene and base oil produced at the technological installations of the state concerns "Turkmennebit" and "Turkmenchemistry" for foreign currency.
Cotton yarn, Portland cement and dry licorice root extract were also sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: Turkey, Serbia.
The total amount of transactions amounted to over 28 million 389 thousand US dollars.
Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene and petroleum road bitumen (SC "Turkmennebit"), as well as dyed fabric and float glass for the domestic market for a total of 69 million 545 thousand manats.
