The opening of the Mary – Turkmenabat section of the Ashgabat – Turkmenabat high-speed highway has significantly reduced the time of passenger and freight transportation, linking the Ahal, Mary and Lebap velayats with the capital. Along the new route, modern infrastructure, meeting international standards, has been put into operation.
Filling stations No. 245 and No. 246, operated by the Türkmennebitönümleri Main Directorate (Yolotan Petroleum Products Enterprise), are located at the 372nd kilometer of the highway.
At the site, high-tech equipment from leading global manufacturers has been installed. Drivers have access to A-95, A-92, A-80 and ECO-93 grade gasoline and diesel fuel.
Each station features five 60-ton metal storage tanks, ensuring uninterrupted service. Each facility is capable of servicing up to 750 vehicles a day on a 24-hour basis.
The new filling stations are fully equipped with modern fire safety systems; comfortable working and rest areas have been created for staff; and the surrounding grounds have been landscaped and planted with greenery.
The operation of these filling stations is of strategic importance for the region’s industrial sector. They ensure the regular refueling of cargo and construction vehicles, used at the Galkynyş gas field, thereby facilitating high rates of natural gas extraction and transportation.
