On September 18, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held via the digital system a regular sitting Cabinet of Ministers, at which a number of issues of the state life were considered, TDH reports.
During the sitting, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on measures to further improve the living and social conditions of workers in the oil and gas sector.
As reported, thanks to the unprecedented efforts of the Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, comfortable housing equipped with all amenities is being built in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag and in the velayats of the country for workers across various sectors, including the fuel and energy complex. This contributes to improving the living conditions of the people and boosts enthusiasm for work.
In this regard, it was reported that necessary measures are being taken to implement the first phase of the construction of a planned residential complex in the city of Mary, designed to house 720 families of oil and gas industry workers.
Specifically, plans include the construction of four 4-story buildings with 40 apartments each and four 4-story buildings with 24 apartments each, totaling 256 housing units. Additionally, plans are in place to build ten 4-story buildings (each with 24 apartments, totaling 240 ones) in the city of Balkanabat and one 12-story building with 72 apartments in the city of Turkmenbashi. Taking this opportunity, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed heartfelt gratitude, on behalf of the workers in the sector he supervises, to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunities being created.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of continuing the construction of comfortable housing for oil and gas workers. After approving the submitted proposals, the Head of State issued a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
