Expanding the potential of the oil and gas sector, effectively utilizing natural resources and reliably meeting the energy needs of the national economy and the population are key priorities of Turkmenistan’s state policy. The extensive work being carried out in this area is vividly reflected in the development of new gas fields, the expansion of production capacities, the modernization of operating facilities and the commissioning of new wells. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of gas workers, these underground resources are being harnessed for the benefit of the people, making a significant contribution to strengthening our country’s economic might.
One example of such effective activity is a successful project implemented at the Kukurtli linear production site of the Lebapgazçykaryş Directorate. On September 1 of the current year, the Northern Kukurtli-3 gas well was commissioned at this site. Currently, 75,000 cubic meters of natural gas are being extracted daily from the new well. The extracted “blue fuel” is directed straight to supplying natural gas to the population of the Darganata etrap.
