The staff of the hydrogeological expeditions of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation, working in various regions of our country, perform important work to ensure the daily supply of clean drinking water to the population. A striking example of this is the work of specialists of the hydrogeological expedition of the Mary velayat. The team of this enterprise, one of the oldest and most advanced within the Corporation, is steadily increasing its pace of work in order to celebrate the thirty-fifth anniversary of our country’s independence with significant labor presents.
Exploration specialists and geologists from the expedition are conducting exploration work in the Mary and Lebap velayats. They are estimating subsoil water resources and conducting hydrogeological, environmental and reclamation engineering-geological surveys and observations. These measures are necessary to study the geo-ecological state of soils and to determine the extent of anthropogenic impacts on subsoil and surface waters. In addition, hydrogeologists have organized a long-term systematic monitoring program to study the regime, circulation and quality of subsoil water within these two regions.
