The Japanese TOYO Engineering Corporation has announced its interest in continuing cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of fertilizer production, oil and gas and petrochemical sectors, Trend reports.

Previously, TOYO Engineering Corporation, together with LG International Corp and Hyundai Engineering (Republic of Korea), participated in the implementation of the construction project of the Kiyany plant in Turkmenistan worth 3.4 billion US dollars, in which she was responsible for design and procurement, and was also a contractor for supervision of commissioning into operation.

The plant is equipped with equipment purchased from Japan, Korea, USA, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and other countries. Polyethylene and polypropylene produced at this plant are supplied both to the domestic market and for export.

A company representative noted that TOYO can implement similar projects in Turkmenistan if it receives such an offer.

TOYO Engineering Corporation was founded on May 1, 1961 and is an engineering, procurement and construction company serving primarily the hydrocarbon and petrochemical sectors worldwide.
