For the 1st half of the year, the refineries of Turkmenistan increased oil refining to more than 2.6 million tons

 More than 2 million 628 thousand tons of oil were processed in Turkmenistan in the first half of the year.  During the same period, 2 million 630 thousand tons of crude oil were delivered to the country's refineries, the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan reported on Wednesday.

 “In general, the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR), which includes the main plant in the city of Turkmenbashi and the Seydi oil refinery, received 2 million 630 thousand tons of oil in the first half of this year.  This is almost 70 thousand tons more than the same period in 2021,” the newspaper notes.

 It is also reported that "during the same time, more than 2 million 628 thousand tons of oil were processed, or almost 55 thousand tons more than last year for the same period".

 The publication also reports that according to the results of the first half of the year, more than 2 million 389 thousand tons of oil were processed at the technological facilities of the Turkmenbashi TCOR in the city of Turkmenbashi, with a processing growth rate of 103.6%.  At the same time, 2 million 405 thousand tons of oil were delivered to the plant, which is 75 thousand more than last year.

 Over the six months of this year, the plant in Turkmenbashi produced more than 811,000 tons of all types of motor gasoline, of which over 208,000 tons were overplanned products.  As for A-95 gasoline, the output amounted to about 469 thousand tons, the growth rate was 108%.  About 279 thousand tons of A-92 gasoline were produced with a production growth rate of 102.5%.  The production of A-80 gasoline amounted to about 64,000 tons, and the above-plan production was almost 35,000 tons.

 About 218 thousand tons of kerosene of all types were produced in the first half of the year.  This is 387 tons more than in the same period last year.  Kerosene TS-1 produced about 177 thousand tons with a growth rate of 124%.

 The range of produced kerosene additionally included almost 11,000 tons of Jet A1 aviation kerosene, the production of which was launched in the first quarter of 2022.

 TCOR products are sold on the local market and sent to countries near and far abroad, mainly to Asia and Europe.

 In the first half of 2022, compared to the same period last year, the cost of export consignments of the TCOR increased in foreign exchange terms across the entire range of goods, the newspaper notes.
