At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan on Monday, July 18, 48 transactions were concluded for a total of $25.5 million and 32 million Turkmen manats, Orient reports.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 1.9 thousand tons of liquefied gas, the price of which decreased by $0.80 compared to previous auctions and amounted to $566 per ton. The total amount of LNG transactions amounted to slightly more than $1 million.
Afghan business also purchased 3.3 thousand tons of A-92 gasoline at the auction. Its price increased by 1.9% compared to the previous auction and amounted to $1,044.50 per ton. The total amount of transactions for the product amounted to $3.3 million.
Representatives of Turkey and Afghanistan purchased 15 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel at the GTSBT for a total of $18.6 million. The price of the oil product decreased by 10.1% compared to the last similar deal.
Turkish and Afghan businesses also purchased 3.7 thousand tons of straight-run gasoline at auction. The sum of all deals on fuel amounted to $2.4 million. The price of this product increased by 5.7% compared to the previous auction.
For the domestic market, entrepreneurs purchased more than 1.6 thousand tons of high-density polyethylene. The total amount of transactions amounted to 30 million manats.
