Participants of the TAPI gas pipeline project discussed topical aspects of its implementation

Today, July 27, in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, a meeting of representatives of the countries participating in the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, organized by the State Concern "Turkmengas", was held in the format of a video conference.
The Turkmen side was represented by the State Minister - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Batyr Amanov and other leaders and representatives of the industry.
The agenda of the meeting included key issues for the further implementation of this ambitious project. In particular, its financial and construction aspects were touched upon. Despite certain restrictive measures related to the fight against coronavirus, the parties expressed great interest in the implementation of this project and discussed methods of activating it after the end of the pandemic.
The participants of the meeting highly appreciated the activities of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan in the implementation of the TAPI project. In this regard, the significant progress achieved in promoting this project was noted, as well as the constructive efforts of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov aimed at accelerating the implementation of this ambitious plan, which will ensure energy security in the entire region.
