Turkmenistan plans to take part in the World Exhibition «EXPO-2025», which will be held on the artificially created island of Yumeshima in the city of Osaka, Japan under the motto «Designing Future Society for Our Lives». Practical steps to prepare for the participation of our country in «EXPO-2025» were reported at a government meeting last Friday.
In particular, proposals were submitted to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the establishment of the Organizing Committee and the appointment of a responsible representative of Turkmenistan to carry out preparatory work in conjunction with the Organizing Committee of «EXPO-2025».
As the head of the state emphasized, the country's participation in the EXPO-2025 World Show will open up broad prospects for demonstrating export opportunities, building up mutually beneficial cooperation with all interested parties.
Earlier, Turkmenistan has already taken part in a number of EXPOs. At present, the Turkmen delegation is successfully demonstrating the potential of our country at EXPO 2020, which is being held in the city of Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
