The State Concern «Turkmengas» will conclude a contract with the Chinese company CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering to complete the construction of three gas wells of special complexity at the Galkynysh field.

The corresponding decree authorizing the signing of this contract was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The draft resolution was presented to the head of state at a government meeting last Friday by Vice-Chairman Shakhym Abdrakhmanov.

As noted, settlements under the contract are planned to be carried out at the expense of natural gas supplies to China.

Earlier, the construction of these wells was started by Gulf Oil & Gas FZE (UAE), but not fully completed.  A Chinese contractor undertakes to complete and commission them within 30 months.
